17" Snow Tire Pressure

Picked up a set of used 225/45/17 Blizzak LM 25's for my 2011 E92 335i. The car has 19" Style 230's on it standard. Im having a hell of a time determining what the correct cold tire pressure should be. Im quite sure I would not run the pressure in the door jam for the staggered 19's on the square 17" set-up. I have 35 psi in all of them now. Any ideas from the experts? Thanks from a very cold Iowa!

Wait, did you buy 17" wheels too or just the 25/45/17 Blizzak LM 25's?

I have LM-25 225 square and the cold pressure is 34. I helped my friend install his winter wheels that he purchased from Tirerack, rims and tires, the pressure was 34 front and rear.

It's easy to tell when you're overinflated with winter tires. With all the salt they throw on the roads around here, you're quickly able to tell how much of the tire is actually making contact with the pavement. Adjust pressures from there as necessary.

Garage List
2013 BMW M3  [10.00]
2015 BMW M4  [0.00]
2013 BMW F30  [0.00]
2014 BMW F22  [0.00]
2013 BMW F06  [0.00]
I'd just go off of what the factory tire pressures are initially, and adjust accordingly.

Mine is set at 36 front and 39 rear, dealership gave it to me at 40/45.

I don't really notice these things, but if I do I usually just tell myself it is a placebo effect.

Drove in snow fine with my setup.
