i have e92 2007 with ccc idrive the car is approved used just bought from 6 months , first i start having the battery charge very low massage and finally the dealer change the battery after 2 months later on after changing the battery i start having the idrive reboot while driving , then BMW logo appear and then resume the navigation , another trip to dealer software update first didn't solve the problem , then the dealer said they replaced the idrive , the car worked fine for 1 week and the reboot issue start again worst that before , like 2 times in 20miles trip, will go again to the dealer soon but just want to know what can be the issue ?

please help ?

im actually having a similar issue. i believe its the harddrive as navigation and music stored wont load. it pretty much crashes until the navigation loads. been happening intermittently for a week now. Dealer appointment this coming thursday. It's a CPO so it better be covered as its essential functionality of the car and not wear and tear.

but the dealer change the idrive from 10 days and the reboot issue still happening even worst than before, so i dont think it is the hard drive , is ccc idrive have hard drives ?

Im not sure, but mine is an 2009 and is CIC.

looks like there is a problem with mine and its throwing a code i guess. Dealer is going to replace it for free under CPO for me since its only 1 year out of New Factory Warranty. Will update when i get it done and if it corrected the issue
