let me know if it works out with the halogen housing and hit kit without warning. I'm thinking of doing the same but don't want to waste money on hid kits where it gives me warning. Still in college, so money is an issue right now.

Its really not that hard to remove the fender lining. I just did it when I installed my LUX. Takes about 5 mins once you have the wheel off.

My friend and I installed the hid kits on his e30 M3. It was easy, everything was pre-wired, all we had to do is drill a hole and connect the wires, and plus his car doesn't give any warning to anything so it was easy(Cheap). Drilling the hole on the back covers wasn't hard. We drilled it out and sealed it with hot glue. It's sealed very good. I'm just worrying about cutting any extra wires. If all I have to do (after i get the right hid kit without warnings) is drill 2 holes and connect the wire, I can do that.

It's actually $149 + $20 for the resistors from Jlevi. With the resistors all you have to do is attach one end to the low beam positive and the other end to the ground and you should get no error. I just got my kit today and haven't hooked it up yet. I'll do it on Monday or Tuesday. The only difference with what you guys want to do and what I am doing (and what tino did) is that I am using OEM xenon housings.

Saw this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MTEC-...spagenameZWDVW
Does that work correctly? Does that kit actually give out no error message?

o nice. The pictures look nice, what temp did you get? Do you have to do anything to replace from halogen to xenon after getting hid kit to work? I mean would you have to connect extra wire to the xenon housing?
