E90 335i e-diff, eLSD question, 2008 Mar+?

Hi guys, Just wondering if there's a definitive way to find out if a specific car via VIN number has an eLSD or not. I'm looking at some 335i's and found one that has a build date of 26/3/08. Apparently they were put in around March 08 according to some research, but couldn't find a definitive date. Is this meant to be MY09's with the LCI or did some 08's without LCI's still have them? Via the VIN, can i look up parts via RealOEM or something to find out which part it has? Thanks in advance.
