OK, I have the Home Access Rear View Mirror (programmable keys on the rear view mirror to open the garage door).

I was wondering if this works while the car alarm is on? In my paranoid ways, I wouldn't want someone to break into my car and then open up the garage using this thing.

It doesn't work when the car is not running. therefore if the alarm is on the car isn't running therefore no it won't work.
