M3 front control arms - a question about the headlight leveling rod
I received the 4 control arms as a gift, but I don't see the leveling rod. Is the leveling rod necessary for installation?
Also, can someone confirm that these TRW part #'s are all correct for a 2011 E92. JTC1423 JTC1424 JTC1426 JTC1427 Thanks. |

FWIW my M3 arms came with the leveling rod, it's just a little piece of metal. Nothing fancy, i'm sure you can purchase one for very cheap.

Are you mechanically inclined? Are you doing this yourself?
If answer is neither just order the part. I poke/melt a hole through the bottom part of the rod and then I fasten it with a bolt to the lower control arm. The rod doesn't make little no resistance so it will last for while. I have done it on few including my own car. |
