M3 front control arms - a question about the headlight leveling rod

I received the 4 control arms as a gift, but I don't see the leveling rod. Is the leveling rod necessary for installation?

Also, can someone confirm that these TRW part #'s are all correct for a 2011 E92.

JTC1423
JTC1424

JTC1426
JTC1427

Thanks.

Looks like those part numbers are correct.

Is the headlight adjustment rod only for cars that have xenon?

Hm, I don't think there's an option for xenon vs halogen- however if you have halogen there is nothing to "level" akin to an adaptive xenon bulb.

FWIW my M3 arms came with the leveling rod, it's just a little piece of metal. Nothing fancy, i'm sure you can purchase one for very cheap.

Yea, I think that's what I'm going to have to do. Thanks.

No, size is the same. You just need to modify it a bit. Search. I have explain this few times before and done on many e9x.

Are you mechanically inclined? Are you doing this yourself?
If answer is neither just order the part.
I poke/melt a hole through the bottom part of the rod and then I fasten it with a bolt to the lower control arm.
The rod doesn't make little no resistance so it will last for while.
I have done it on few including my own car.
