Muffler delete near Fremont?

Does anyone know who would do a muffler delete around Fremont east Bay Area for a good price?

Just go to any, i'm sure any muffler shop can do a muffler delete and cost will range from $30-60.

Really that's it? I'm assuming it will not pass smog check? There's a way to put it back for the smog check right?

You'll pass smog with a muffler delete and if you want to put back your muffler you'd have to get it rewelded again or get custom work done to make it a bolt on so you can just remove and put it back on easily.

Its not that close to Redondo Beach but they're very good and pretty easy to negotiate price with.

The muffler delete by itself will be in that range but add labor for making and welding the new piping as well as the tips (if you don't bring your own), the total will be $100-140 depending on the area.

JS-NA is right, if you just touch the muffler part of the exhaust then you will pass smog, so no need to weld it back on. If for whatever reason you need to reverse the process of the muffler delete I believe it will cost around $50 at the muffler shop and will take only a few minutes.
