I'm a bit confused... I thought I read before that all 335's have Logic 7 as standard but I can't find any related settings for it in the iDrive? The car is an 08 plate...

It was only standard for 2007 I believe. Optional on all years after that.

Easiest way to tell is that if you have a speaker in the center of the dashboard, then you have logic 7, at least for the non I drive models. Not sure if they're different for the ones with I drive since mine doesn't have I drive

if you have idrive then it has the Logic 7 logo when you go into the sound adjustments.

Didn't think it was standard at any point?
I had a 2006 and that only had base stereo.

Another thing to look out for is to see if you have tweeters in your a pillar?

Do you have a centre speaker in the middle of the dash?

Do you have tweeters at the rear side panels?

Speakers on the rear shelf?

Or finally use a VIN decoder to see if it has the option ticked.

I second that, sounds excellent now I have it setup properly thanks to makkan00 and IanS100

If you have tweeters in the doors that will mean you already have an amped set up, this might have a bearing on any upgrade route you take!

Yup i have the hi-fi speakers , going to change to front door speaker to vocals to see if its good enough.
