MassTuning underground meet in boston TODAY. whos going?
Its a huge meet at the garage at Post Office Square on Congress St. It starts at 5, but I will be arriving around 330. Anyone want to caravan to this meet together? I was going to meet up at the Bellingham Home Depot (next to 495) around 230. Let me know!!

Yeah, Cars and Copters was really bad this year. Two thousand more cars than expected and only 7 of 30 committed volunteers showing up will do that. Glad some people enjoyed the MT meet. I've heard enough stories that have turned me off from ever attending myself

I now hear that the mgt company of the garage the meet was held at is requesting payment from MT organizers to repair damage left on numerous floors from cars doing burnouts in the garage. Glad to see a respectful group attends these meets.

I heard about that earlier today, can't believe these kids and their lack of respect.
It's also a bit unusual that they consider tire marks as damage. Last edited by Tiago@VRSF; 12-30-2013 at 05:33 PM.. |

While tire marks may not be 'real' physical damage to the garage's floor it can hurt their wallet. For instance, do you really want to park in a parking garage that has burn outs and tire marks all over it? Doesn't sound like a safe place to park my car if idiots do those sort of things there. I'm assuming this is what 99% of the population would think as well. Also, whoever owns the garage pays the management company to run it. If I showed up at my garage and there were burnouts, skid marks, tire marks, etc. I would be screaming at the management company asking them what they are doing. Why they would of allowed this to happen and why it wasn't cleaned up immediately at their expense. Especially as they know 'who' was responsible. edit: I wish this didn't surprise me.
