I have a Dinan and a Injen intake and can't choose between both.
So I just sold my E46 M3 and bought a super clean 07 335i with a Dinan intake installed, so Christmas came and I received a Injen intake as a gift. Now I can't decide wether I should just sell the Injen or install the Injen and sell the Dinan intake. I searched and I couldn't find any real differences in power, is it more of a cosmetic and price difference only?
Thanks |

The Dinan is a true cold air intake so slightly better performance than the Ingen which sucks in hot under hood air. I'd sell the Injen unless you need the cash (The Dinan will sell for more).

Keep Dinan (can't believe i'm saying that), the Injen intake will net a nice profit on the used market as well.

The Dinan CAI will sell easy, as Dinan rarely puts it carbon fiber product on discount.
As to the Injection, they suck in hot air, a no no for most; the Dinan is a true cold air intake. HP/TQ gains are around 5/6 for the CAI, as to the Inject it could actually produce premature heat soak under certain conditions.

keep the dinan. its a rare part, and actually provides a nice gain over the stock intake! looks really good under the hood too!

So now just add the Dinan FFE and maybe a flash and you're all set!
