FYI for Socal Fire Evacuees

As part of a Homeowners/Condo/Renters Policy there is a coverage provided called Additional Living expense, or Loss of Use. This can be used by people put under mandatory evacuations, it will reimburse for expenses that you wouldn't usually incur if you had access to your primary residence, (Hotels, etc.) This is usually non surcharged, meaning there is no premium increase and you don't have to use your ded to access this coverage. Check with your current provider for the specifics, but this could help some out that maybe didn't know they had coverage for that.
