First you can try claying the surface. If the watermarks haven't eaten its way through your clear coat, then the clay will surely remove it. If clay is ineffective, you will need to use some sort of abrasive like a polish or compound to remove and level the area. A light polish like Ultimate Polish should be fine, but it is hard to say. It goes without saying that you should wash your car before you try these steps. Sometimes a wash will remove it also

Two words - Griot's Garage. They have everything you need to keep your beauty in tip top shape. Including DIY videos. Wash, clay, polish, wax. Do these steps frequently and you will never again have problems with your paint...unless you drive through a sand storm, then all bets are off. Semper Fi |

Ouchie did you ever fix the spots? As was mentioned before, you're almost definitely in need of some level of polishing. Even if they're some stains that clay bar will remove, normally clay will cause some marring in the paint, which will require polishing. Hopefully you already got them out, would also love to see some finished photos!
