Just wondering if I should even bother going to the dealer.

The cooling fan is making a loud grinding/shrieking noise as its slowing down after I turn off the car. Its getting worse and worse as time goes on. I've pretty proficient mechanically and the radiator fan is a 10 min change but $550 shipped is the cheapest I could find.

If its covered ill take it, if anyone knows for sure its not just going to order it don't want to even bother going to the dealer.

Was thinking also taking it out and taking the fan itself off the motor and try to clean it if thats possible.

Its 2009 335i Coupe.
