Long lost Sniz checking in

Long time no post. Been a crazy 2013 for me, bought a new house that required a 3 month total gut job and renovation before moving in, got married Dec 6th to my wonderful wife down in Riviera Maya.....etc. Basically no time for the M3, it literally hasnt left the garage since the 2nd week of October when I broke something in the rear diff. Its still moveable but there is clearly something broken off causing terrible noises and vibration.

I broke the car out today to keep the fluids moving and generally just get a chance to enjoy it even if I only got to drive it 1/4 mile down my street.

Time to get my ass in gear and get it fixed!

Hope everyone had a good New years....I still feel like Poo

as a former E36 M3 owner I love seeing pics of your car....brings back fond memories.

on the broken diff, it is a horrible feeling even when it's driveable. i broke mine in the 335 and I still remember driving it to the dealer for the warranty fix (yes, they covered the whole thing), which was the most painful 5 mile drive I think Ive ever experienced. I could not go more than 35 - 40 mph. Second gear was the worst....sounded like parts were falling out of the diff....I feel for you.

Well finally got the diff pulled, sent to my buddy to rebuild it, pulled it apart and it was trashed. Got a 2.93 and had it fully built with a 40% locker in the rear. Cant wait to get it installed!

Here is the carnage:

gt35r TQ killed ittttt

Hi Matt. Missed the Jan post. Congrats on the new house, new wife. My car is still the same, just 22,500 miles and about 7.5 years old. Looking at houses myself, maybe spring 2015 will be purchase time.
