Eccentric Shaft Sensor - Safe to Drive?
I'm getting ready to replace my Eccentric Shaft Sensor on my sister's 328i. I'd like to put it in my garage and would prefer to drive it in rather than do a 3 point turn by pushing.
The motor runs rough. Trying to get an idea if running it for a couple minutes is going to damage any components or just run rough like if you had a bad spark plug.

What lead you to replace the eccentric shaft sensor? Im having starting issues with my car and been reading this could be the fix.
