335i brakes (discs/pads)
Quick question.
My car is with BMW today for an oil change, they've called to state the front brakes need doing. 」450 inc vat all in for OEM. Is this reasonable? If not, which should I buy from EuroCarParts? Then I'd get sorted locally. I've read online that EuroCarParts have various versions that may/may not fit? It's a 2007 335i. |

quality discs and pads come to under 200」 from ebay... i doubt its going to be 250」 to fit them either, unless you use BMW :P

Go to http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do and put in the last 7 characters of your vin and find the part number of your discs etc. I have just had my front discs and pads replaced with Pagid for 」195 inc VAT. Admittedly they are smaller discs than yours I think (330 as opposed to 348?).

I just brought the front yellow stuff pads through mob17's 30% discount at 」109 and then brought the 348mm discs from german and Swedish ebay site for 」34 each.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Vent...item461712154c I then fitted them myself as its such an easy diy. Give is a go yourself you'll save a fortune. |

Manish has a good suggestion. I'd either go with that, or if you want a less dusty pad look for Pagid pads from ECP (with a 30% discount - google ..). These are the oem pads anyway..

The dealer I spoke to quoted テつ」625 for parts and テつ」172 for labour, that was with a 10% discount apparently! I got EBC Yellowstuff pads through the forum group buy for テつ」180 then sourced EBC Ultimax Slotted Discs for テつ」190 front / テつ」170 rear coming to テつ」540 total, saving テつ」150 over RRP. As stated above fit them yourself and save a fortune! I'd also recommend the EBC setup.
