No, that's an Ethernet to OBD cable for F-Series.

You do not need ICOM A, as a matter of fact, ICOM A on it's own has no value compared to standard BMW OBD K/D CAN plug for your car.
If you had ICOM A + ICOM B that would make more sense so you can flash your car.
But don't bother buying just an ICOM A on its own.

Thanks for your reply. I always use my K+D Can cable. So far, so good. My idea is to work with ISTA/ISID, because till now I haven't get it to work.
