Hello all.

Firstly, I've done my homework on this, but after getting quotes from various BMW dealers, I've now become confused.

Objective: Retrofit USB / Audio in AND Bluetooth

Parts Needed

Full retrofit part numbers
65410445465 USB/audio interface retrofit (Old part number 65 41 0 443 678)

bluetooth parts:

84316938762 - Microphone
84506928461 - Bluetooth antenna
61138377072 x1 3 pin socket
61130005197 x6 female pin
61120137616 Genuine BMW Antenna Cable, Basis Antenna

Existing equipment

• BMW Professional Radio
• DAB Module in boot
• 3.5mm audio in central arm rest

Now, I've managed to source a MULF2 off ebay for a steal at £80, part number 84109183373, build date 6.12.2007.

I can get the other parts.

One dealer has mentioned that the USB RetroFit kit can only be "supplied as requested" as the USB RetroFit kit is only for vehicles from September 2009. This goes against everything I've read online so far

So, can anyone confirm that I'm on the right track, have the correct parts, and won't be throwing a tone of money down the drain?

actually, this also confuses me:

Part number Production ended
1 65 41 0 445 465 production
2 65 41 0 443 678 19.05.2008

So, the USB kit was in production BEFORE sept 09
