M3 control arms on 335i?
I had a little mishap, and long story short I need new control arms. I would really love to upgrade to M3 control arms since I'm changing them out anyway. So my question is, will they fit on my E90 335i (without sport package)? Do I need to worry about whether the parts come from an E90 or E92 M3, or does it matter?

Yes they will fit. E92 and e90 M3s have the same control arms. Front arm part numbers from realoem states:
31102283575 31102283576 31102283577 31102283578 You can get the TRW OEM arm kit and headlight leveler for under $400 (same exact arms as those with M3 stamp on them, the M3 logo in many cases can be still seen on the TRW arms). Or you can get the BMW arms for significantly more $ |

Yeah, that's the plan. I'm gonna order from that group-buy and get all 4 arms with the bushings and headlight rod.

I'm also looking into this conversion for an 07 e92 335i Sport package. Quick question for those who have done this upgrade. Once switching out the the m3 control arms, will my stock struts/spring bolt right on?
Also, if I have the m3 control arm set up and decide to install coilovers (kw v3), will I be required to buy v3's for a e92 335i or an e92 m3? |

You would still buy them for the 335i.

Depending on shipping, ECS tuning might be cheaper. Or you might still be able to get them from these guys
