Tick on acceleration, another problem!

Yet another problem with the 325i!

Anyone got any ideas?

Sound appears to be coming from underneath me, although it could be anywhere. I was around 1,600 to 2,000 RPM in that video.....

Sounds like transmission noise to me. Drive shaft or diff on the way out..?

check the universal joints on the prop shaft or could be one of the drive shafts either side of the diff.

Had a similar noise on mine - turned out to be a loose propshaft bearing. Once tightened, no issue. Hope it's that!

Rather hope it's something lose.

Noticed it (although a different type of tapping) whilst driving today.

i had the same noise (also 325i) and the drive shaft needed greasing (thats what BMW told me as still under warranty).

I took it to BMW and they can't find any faults?

Anyone got any ideas? Can anyone recommended a decent garage in the Oxford or Gloucester area?
