Too broad. i.e. M6 > anything that's not a 911 GT2/3/Turbo and 911 GT3 > all BMWs

Okay, well, let's say...
A 3 Series (E90, E91, E92, or E93 M3) or a Boxster S / Cayman S. |

Agreed, but I consider them the same car for all intents and purposes. Hell, I'd rather have an M5 simply because a sedan is more low key. Gotta love sleepers.

Ok, well I'd take an e92 (or e90) M3 over a Cayman S or a base 911. I'd take pretty much any Bimmer over a Boxster (including S model...I think that's the ugliest Porsche ever). I'd take a aCayman(S) and a 911(S+up) over any Bimmer pretty much though.

I recently had to decide between a 335i twin turbo with Sports Suspension and a crippled Porsche Cayman with no Comfort Access, no bluetooth phone integration, no swiveling headlights, no headlights that turn off automatically, no iPod integration, no Park Distance display on the Nav LCD display, no easy-to-use programmable Nav buttons, no standard no-extra cost Xenon headlights, no standard no-extra cost auto-sensing wipers, and no standard no-extra cost dimming mirrors for my wife. Guess which car I bought?

No question ..... Porsche Cayman.
Everyone is going to have their own good and bad reasons to choose one over the other but if I had to choose a car for me alone without worrying about work or family requirements then I'd choose a Cayman. |

BMW or Porsche.
For me BMW all the time, but not when (997 turbo and the GT) are there. I rented a Cayman (I will return it tomorrow). ![]() Its nice cool fun, you have to floor it and you don’t have to care about corners ![]() BM is more flexible like it can stretch and bend throw corners. ![]() The worst thing about the Cayman. You fell it too have. ![]() But at the end I would like to have one as a “2nd” car for my e92 335i ![]()

With super going for $3.40/gal when it was only $2.29 when I got my car last Dec., I'd go with a 335 manual that can get 29-30 on the highway. Even better, maybe an Altima hybrid that supposedly pays for itself in 6 years. Ever heard of someone who leases a hybrid? Talk about not doing a break-even analysis!
