FS: Mr5 Customer Airbox

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 175.00
Shipping Costs Included

Item Interest
Mr5 Custom intake for sale. This is 2.5" hose dia with routing into the front fender area for cold air.

Cone filter is cleanable type... sorry don't remember brand, but NOT a cheapy.
Comes with paper airbox filter and bracket for relocated power steering reservoir.

Please see pics for mounting and location. The power steering res will likely have to be relocated (bracket included)... potentially could squeeze it or alter the stock bracket. I just removed the stock bracket for Mr5 and meth. Very simple installation otherwise, hose uses clamp to secure airbox flange, so no potential loose fasteners to worry about.
Please ask any questions.

Oh, one of the mounting grommets is missing, but just reuse your old Airbox's. The stock airbox I purchased didn't have it, so had to reuse mine

You can see it in one of the pics. Just a metal piece with 3 holes. Forgot to add it initially.

price lowered to $200. Great airbox that fits the airflow and CAI needs of a modded car at a low price relative to other options. And stockish for a sleeper look.

Hey bud, how likely is the need for power steering fluid res move? I'm on mobile so I was wondering what you're asking as well? Thanks!

Hmmm, this is the best setup considering air flow, temp, and cost. Surprised such little interest.

Garage List
I have an M3 rep bumper with fog deletes/air ducts. Would the filter be sitting down there?? Always been interested in one of these buy not if the filter would be sitting down there exposed and visible.

Too lazy to go poking around to see.

Definitely interested if it doesnt go down that far!
