Door handles "stuck"

What's the reason for them getting stuck and a "fix" without paying £ to the dealers?

Its due to the paint being too thick or something

Any lubricant will do the trick

You could try peach oil.

Not sure if it would work... but it would smell lovely.

It was a fault on 05/06 ish door handles, there's a nylon slider on the back of the handle and it just sticks.

My 06 330i had it fixed under warranty when they stuck in 07, but the fix was probably them just bodging / oiling it somehow, as stealers do.

But they never stuck again and then newer handles were changed to avoid it.

As said try some silicon type spray in the back end of the handle.

Mines is an 07 with sticky handles!

Oiled them 5k miles ago and so far so good

My 2006 BMW has sticky door handles. Used silicone spray and 20,000 miles later, still not sticking. Would not suggest using WD40 myself.

Don't know the advantage of this just for sticky handles.

Wd-40 is a good penetrating fluid for sure

So you could use it to free them off. The silicone spray is more of a grease which will have longevity and be better in the long run
