The oil level is not correct until the oil is warm. Normally, you should not even get a reading, but just disregard whatever it says before reaching operating temperature.
If you are at min, add 1qt (1 liter) of oil. The next reading should be at max (after driving, getting the car warmed up etc). If it is not, the sensor has issues, do not add more oil, have the car serviced. |

At min it will ask you to add a quart or 1 ltr. Was it showing 50% after the engine had been running for a while (not straight away from start up), and then later on after 25 km 25% level? If so then it's just dropped at that point while you were driving. Keep an eye on it and it will eventually ask for oil as above.

It shouldn't (going according to what mine does) show a level reading immediately upon start-up, it should only show a level after driving a bit or maybe a few minutes of idling. And from my experience, the level that it shows should not change unless there has been an actual drop in the level. While it is calculating the level it should show a clock - well mine does...
