My battery died yesterday so I charged it and I got the red steering lock symbol. But the car started and drove fine then this morning tried to start but the steering locked. Now wont start

Out of warranty. Don't wanna to the dealer

Did you place the key fob in the holder? Maybe your key fob battery needs to be replaced (if you have comfort access). Ignore this comment if you don't have comfort access because its always in the key holder getting charged up.

i'm no expert but it sounds like you need a new battery, buy one and have someone here code it for you.
