335i options for new exhaust
What is available in Australia for an exhaust?
I was debating about getting a shop to make one or to buy cat back exhaust. going on to a RB FBO E92 335i. Do you know of any capital cities that have them ? |

I used Yallah Exhausts in Granville on my X5, they are damn good with custom jobs. They put a tabouli spurting exhaust on a evo when i went to pick up my car, it was fully tabouli.

What's your budget?
From what I have seen most systems dont off any power advantages, except the HKS system offers a marginal gain although kw per $ is pretty ordinary. IF you're after a budget system go for a VSRF? I would steer clear of a custom system, as most exhausts shops wouldnt be familiar with the N54 and you will end up with a farty sounding system which will drive you nuts. At the end of the day most of us just do DP's and bmw performance mufflers. |

I have the VRSF exhaust and I'm really happy with it. Not too loud and the 3.5" diameter will help to move the air with RB's. I was lucky cause when I got it the dollar was still high and didn't have to pay for postage cause I brought it back with me on my last trip to the US.

HKS sounds the best in my opinion but it will cost heaps.
Budget $2000 to my door, so probably $1200-$1500 + shipping is my limit. I'm going to check out BMW performance mufflers |

USA import

Here is one currently for sale for US$1500 including all shipping and import charges (from a BMW California dealer). That's about $1750 AUD delivered to your door. |

I bought the HKS exhaust, I really like it. Drone is minimal, results on the dyno seem pretty good.
Price is expensive though! I think I paid about $2600 shipped to my door!! That was through an external shipper, as well... |
