335d diff

guys i swapped my diff on my 335d in december as the input bearing was worn and according to bmw not a part that can be replaced,so i found another diff from a breakers and fitted that, now i have the old one and was wondering if it was worth anything (i know you can use the casing for a quaife),is it worth selling it or weighing it in?

Garage List
Given that as you rightly say, no internal diff parts are available from BMW, your diff is virtually useless - except maybe to someone with the engineering know-how to make his/her own internals...

You should change the gear box oil too, 60k about right, and change the built in filter-sump thing.

Don't believe the hype, no such thing as "long life" or "sealed for life"
