Can I read error-codes on my 2009 E91 LCI ?

I have problem with my diesel-heater on my 320d 2009 E91 LCi , it seems like there is a error-code blocking it to start.

I have a "K+DCAN USB-interface, INPA compatible"-cable . Is there any program I can use with this cable to read and perhaps erase error codes?

/Robert

You can use INPA but everything will show up in German. I prefer DIS for later model cars because everything is English.

It'll give you code numbers to look up if they're not regular. It will be able to clear.

You should take a look at these two devices: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=908310

OBD II Coding Dongle allows DTC error code clean-up, coding and FSC code importation.

GAT HandHeld Coder can read DTC error codes in addition to DTC error code clean-up, coding and FSC code importation.

They are very easy to use, no other tools/software are required.
