BMS FFTEC Single Turbo Dyno Testing

Test Conditions

2008 135i Steptronic (original trans, for now)
JB4 single turbo firmware & supporting flash
FFTEC 5862 top mount single turbo
BigTom intercooler, BMS OCC, BMS stat, etc
Walbro 255 inline fuel pump mod
Factory exhaust system (did not bother to open cutout)
~E30 mix for for 17psi runs. For 20psi+ runs enabled meth kit for fueling using a single CM10 nozzle.

I wonder why he doesn’t just run E60 and be done with the meth. I guess at 20+ PSI the car won’t supply enough fuel? Hence the meth?

That particular setup on the 135i is going to be so fierce once the trans gets figured, look at that spool and power band. Absolutely no leveling off of whp, that is awesome looking for such modest advance.

that is easily a 10 second car in the 135 with AT at 23lbs .... very easily actually... prob 10.7 his first time out... @ 135 or so....

That graph looks like the perfect mix of spool and power. That's the turbo these cars should have come with.

A single CM10 nozzle isn't much when it's injecting meth, he probably runs a little meth just to increase octane. Judging by the ign timing and AFR in the logs, he's still playing it safe. Can't wait to see this thing in kill mode!
