I know there is a few threads about Advan and BMR and the service they provide but i wanted to add to that.
On Thursday my mate had some issues with his 130i where the temp light would light up shortly after the fan kicks in. Power was reduced in the car to the extent it was barely able to get over a speedhump when he pulled over.
He called me on Friday morning to let me know. First thing plug in INPA check codes...no success due to data transmission interrupted.
Turned of car..then the dreaded Steering whell + padlock in RED appears. Engine inhibited, doors wouldnt lock, boot wouldn't open.

Called Pete...excellent customer service advised what is is most likely causing it..damn ELV..arranged tow truck.
While waiting decided to reset battery to see if this cleared the ELV error. Oh crap cant get into boot, called Pete AGAIN, he advised over the phone what to do with jumper leads for the button to work. Nope still no good. OK this is looking like a battery issue now.
My mate had called Stu earlier in the day to arrange a water pump and excellent service from Stu as always, prompt pricing received.

NRMA jumps the car, awesome car on the street at work waiting for tow truck. Car had to be turned of due to temp light and guess what...the two truck needs to adjust the wheels and he locks the steering wheel, battery died again. Called Pete AGAIN and asked for any advise, unfortunately nothing can be done as it needs power to unlock. Wait for NRMA again. OK car started tow truck arrives.
Car delivered to Pete. Straight in the workshop and out of harms way.

Pete thanks for taking my many phone calls which may have been annoying but you were a great help

First comment from my mate about the workshop "WOW...this is a super clean workshop".

Cudos to you Pete for an awesome workshop, excellent CS and Stu for putting up with some stupid questions and also taking the time to discuss tyre replacement as well...will be in touch about that

Anyone needing to their pride & joy BMW...don't hesitate to take it to Pete & Stu.
