White Angel Eye Bulbs

Thinking about changing my standard yellowish headlight bulbs to white but I'm a bit confused with all the choices... I understand I'll need H8 bulbs for a 335i pre LCI?

Can you recommend any?

The MTEC ones look good but, for instance looking at hids-direct on eBay, why are the 'super white' 4350k ones £11.99 compared to £140 for 7000k ones!? Is the different ahem night and day?

I got somebnib 20watt each side angel. Led lights for sale. Proper white, no blue...
So i would rate them 5000k ... Note what they say on the net.. The k colour is just a rating...

Very satisfield brightness as well, ofcourse do expect the outer rings not to light up much in the day light.

Cost me £80 , only want £45 posted.

I got mine from SSDD. They look good, but the outer ring isn't as bright as the inner ring due to the design of the head lights

Thanks, I may be interested but I'm still confused why some are £12 and some are more than 10x that? Am I comparing like for like? Also I was under the impression they need to be 35w?

I've seen some pics of the £12 ones and they look pretty good to me -

And both rings look pretty even -

The guy who did HID lights retrofited super bright angle lights which is ofcourse illegal ( as they are too bright for parked lights ) you then need to find a place to screw the ballast box somewhere in the engine compactment.

You will get NEW bmw LOOK around the ring but seriously, don't.

Most of us here use led bulbs, even tho, there is no bulbs out there to make both angle rings lit up evenly( lux v3 is the close's thing you can ever get to but with a price tag of 300 pounds.

those of us choose led bulbs to have 90% of the look with 30% of the price tag..us.. you need to beware of radio interference and light flickering upon start up. so choosing a good set is important.

Also by the way, you have coupe and 335i , so your standard dipped lights should be white in the first place. I am certain you are talking about the yellow rings right?

Thanks - I've replied to your PM. There is a definite yellow tinge to my headlights at the moment which I'd like to be whiter!
