I bought 3.5 inch dual that width is 7inches. The guy said it will rub a little after measuring shouldn't it b fine? Anyone put 3.5 on theirs no problem?

If you are referring to the single exit-dual tip exhaust -
I have the BMW PE with the iS Sport Diffuser on my car. Tips measure 3" diameter each, with a total outside dimension of 6-1/8" and they fit nicely with nice clearance between tips and cutout each side. That outside measurement is with a 1/8" space between the tips. How you can add 1" to this dimension by using 3-1/2" dia tips over 3's, & still have a gap as shown = 7" is beyond me After checking, a max outside dimension of 7" should be fine and not hit or rub - anything above that is no good...

EAS 80mm M3 tips on PE exhaust. Which is 3.14 inches a tip and deff a snug fit
Just worry about you're bumper getting hot if it's placed in like mine.

The gap between the two stock tips won't physically let you fit 2 3.5 tips in. Here are a couple more pics. I'd probably have the tips pushed in another inch or so though. |
