nail!!
ok.so I'm on my way to school when I hear a clicking noise. To make it short, I'm sitting in a restaurant calling he dealership to get a new tire. The nail is literally flush fit in the middle of the tire treadings. Got an apt today at 1ish for a new one.320 plus120ish fee for the tire plus the hour installation. Is this highway robbery or what? I need advice. Car is only 4 days old, and I'm 17. This is coming put of my pocket. Sry for bad typing, ok my iPod touch ha

Yup, nearest gas station would have plugged it for way cheaper.

I had a nail in my front tire today as well, though it was right on the sidewall. Do you have sport package? I only paid 240 installed with tax and everything at America's Tire Co.
Look into it before wasting money at the dealership.. |

Its the low profile tire, therefore, CANNOT BE PLUGGED =(
well....being devious, i decided to go the dealership, and talked to one of the mates working in the shop. He checked out the tire, and said it would be fine to keep driving on for another few days because of how its completely flush in the middle of the tire, and is not leaking..yet. Soooo.... i decided to purchase the "3 year unlimited millage road hazard" type insurance on my tires for 565 bucks. I asked the sales associate if it covered the tire if i ran over a nail or something like that, and he said "sure it does!" so yay! Now im going to take it over there tomorrow, and say, "oh no... i got a nail in my tire" aka they replace it for free. So.. i suppose getting the warranty is good, since now im only out about 200 bucks, but have a safe feeling for the next 3 years of being covered. |

No, not again. Yes, you can plug RFT's as long as they havent been driven on while flat.

If you only have $106 left in your piggy bank, you might have bitten off more than you can chew by buying a bimmer.
