V2 Re-install
I completely removed my V2 Procede prior to service and now need to get it back in there ASAP. Killing me knowing how much power I am leaving on my desk at home. Anyways, are there instructions for a “fresh” install? I would rather not go through the process of using the V1 instructions and then using the V2 instructions. Also, at the same time, I figure that I might as well install the speed sensor wire to the Procede (white/green wire of pin #17 of the grey sub-connector of the smaller ECU harness to digital input #4 of the black Procede connector) Does this sound correct? Even so, I would really like some instructions with pictures. Any ideas? Help! ![]() |

You're going to have to do both either way. The only connector that the two installs shared is replacement of the green wire. So basically if you follow v1 install then v2, you wont do the same thing twice at all.

I also had to remove and reinstall V2 last week. To make things easy to reinstall when I removed proceed I labeled the wires with light color insullating tape, and wrote on it information such as "SB6" - meaning Small ECU connector, black subconnector wire 6, "LW7" - Large ECU connector, white subconnector wire 7. There are 6 wires that need labelled.
I labeled the wires connected to the proceed V1/V2 looms that are being removed, obviously not labelling any of the original ECU wires! When I did the restore just to make sure I didn't screw up I put togther this cheat sheet from V1/V2 information, if you have done an install yourself this information should make sense: Ground to to 10mm nut Power to switched power source Small ECU connector - Black subconnector - Wire 6 - Yellow with white stripe (#525) intercept with female wire from yellow loom - Wire 7 - Yellow with white stripe (no number) intercept with other female wire from yellow loom Large ECU connector - Black subconnector - Wire 29 - solid yellow (#494) intercept with female wire from white loom - Wire 10 - Solid yellow (#1324) intercept with female wire from green loom - White subconnector - Wire 7 - White with grey strip intercept with one of longer wires in V2 loom - Wire 14 - solid white (#837) intercept with other longer wire in V2 loom Hope this is useful. Because I am not computer savy enough to fix the code for 2.01. Also, I would rather just upload a new map when 2.02 comes out rather than open everything up for just one wire.
