Honest Review of JB2R

This is my first post. First of all I am a fan of Vishnu and their products. I have never personally tested any version of the procede, however, based on what I have read on this forum, they make a wonderful product. The same goes for the Turbo Tuner. Due to the fact that money is an issue for me, I decided to try the BMW JuiceBox product line after seeing an advertisment on another forum. I imagine that if I could afford the Procede, I probably would have purchased it. Yesterday, I received the JB2R. I have gone through the JB1 and upgraded to the JB2 and this morning added on the JB2R. HOLY SH*T!!! The car pulls so much harder than the regular JB2. It is a day and night difference. I encourage anybody to try the product. The grin on my face today is from ear to ear.

I am not affiliated with any tuner company or brand. I am just giving my experience to this forum.

Nice... I think I may give the R a try. Sucks about race gas though... I have to find a better source than the $9/gal Union 76 gas station down the street...

+1...?

That sounds expensive...although 76 Newport just raised theirs from 6.99 to 7.99 p/gal.

Yeah, last time I checked about a month ago, it was $8.99/gallon at the Laguna Hills Union 76 on La Paz just off the 5 fwy.

They may have raised it now to $9.99 with the rising gas prices (almost $100/barrel now!).

Sam: ...yep, and jet fuel just hit a new record high today as well. So I guess the $7.99 cost at the 76 Newport is average and I shouldn't worry about "shopping it"?

One thing I need to make clear though is.... I did not use race gas. Here in CT we have 93 octane at the pump, and I added one gallon of toluene (114 octane).

This may deserve its own thread but I will discuss it here..... Sherman Williams sells toluene by the gallon and by the 5 gallon drum. They also have different price levels for all of their products. Price level "A" being the most expensive all the way down to price level "F" being the least expensive. When I asked the guy at the counter if he could hook me up with a lower price than what is was marked at, he told me about the price levels. I pay about $5.50 per gallon of 114 octane toluene at price level "F" in a five gallon drum. Being that one gallon of 114 octane is stronger than the regular 100 or 104 octane, it takes significantly less to raise the overall octane in your tank and costs less. Just to give you some idea... Price level "A" for toluene is about $12 in a five gallon drum, vs. price level "F" is about $5.50 in a five gallon drum.

Never been a big fan toluene, but it will get the job done. You could always go with Torco. Prices aren't too bad in a 5-gallon pail.

I'm sitting on the fence right now. But I love it that there is competition out there Vishnu/Terry/Xede/TT/Helix. The more competition the better for us, right folks?

Let's just encourage all of them in their development. After all, we are the ones to benefit.

Its 3.60/gallon for 91 here in Atlanta. No idea about race gas, but our taxes on gas are ridiculous.

Good to hear you can feel a big difference in how the car pulls with JB2R compared to JB2. I can't wait to get mine installed

And on the race gas subject, that HB place has always been the cheapest. It was 5.99 not long ago so if they are up to close to 7.00 that means everywhere else is probably 8+ by now. Do they sell 100 Octane at Irwindale Speedway? If so anyone know the price?

Thanks
