Pads: Genuine BMW vs "OEM Brake Pads"
Just wondering, I'm looking at pads, and for instance on Turner's site, they have this listing. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-15...2008-2009.aspx
I'm wanting that "Genuine BMW" pad bite, I don't want less bite/stopping power, but will these "OEM" pads by these other brands really give it to me? There seems to be a considerable cost savings. I know the description reads as though they're the same w/o the "expensive BMW logo" but is this actually true from those that have used them? Thanks

Textar manufactures brake pads for BMW. BMW takes the same pads, puts their branding and logos on it and sells them as an OEM part with a big markup. If you are looking for OEM brakes you have found them.

Cool. yeah I don't think I need anything more an OEM. I don't track and it's a daily driver. Thanks guys.
Also looking at the Bosch QuietCast which claim to be OEM compound as well. For the price I can't see why I'd spend the extra.
