BMW PE or Supersprint exhaust
Hi, i am going for my exhaust mod, mine is only a E92 325, i am after a better note instead of power gain as 25 is not really power oriented?
Anyway, i come down to PE or Supersprint (as offered by mechanic - $1500 fitted) The PE got quite a few good comments, but i couldnt find any feedback for the Supersprint here. Would you have any suggestion on which is a better one to go? |

I have not heard either specifically on an E92 325i but have owned Supersprints on previous BMWs and rate them highly. In addition, a mate has one (rear box) on an E46 325i and it is awesome. I have to say that it is a better sounding system on that car than any axle-back I have ever heard on a 335i incl the PE. Big call I know.
The Supersprint systems are top notch in terms of engineering, build quality and fitment. They have a deep bassy burble around town and have a more aggressive sound as the revs rise but never annoyingly loud. No drone either.

PE is the best exhaust you can get.

Thanks everyone.
I am thinking if the BMW performance exhaust is better as it is OEM. But seems like Supersprint is worth to try.. Note wise, will the supersprint too over? Or similar to PE? I don't want my BMW sounds like a Japanese car... |

In saying that, I did - I went for a Meisterschaft, and it was deafening. I put up with it for about 3 months and then went back to stock. Well, had a resonator delete while I was at it. I think if I didn't have catless downpipes, my opinion would have been different. At the end of the day it's up to you. The PE is proven. BUT if you want to try something different, at the risk of losing a few hundered $$$ (if you don't like it and sell second hand) then go the Supersprint. |

They do two versions: Sport and Race — you choose which you want to go for!!

You should just go onto youtube and hear the soundclips and decide. I know it won't be the same from hearing it in person but at least you will get a general idea.
Another choice would probably be Eisenmann, their exhaust are well built and sounds great and has two choices just like the Supersprint. However the price tag for one of those might not be within your budget.
