Clearcoated interior trim

In the past my cars have had matte aluminum trim, so it was easy to clean. Now I have trim that is painted-to-match (sort of like the glossy piano black on Individual cars), and I can see some swirls already when the sun hits it.

Should I use detail spray, ONR or something else on the trim to reduce swirls?

OP , use swirl remover http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...ver-3-0-a.html
and remove polish using APC, let it dry and seal it http://www.carpro-us.com/cquartz-dlu...ating-sky-kit/

Thanks - what about cleaning it to keep it swirl free in the future? Exterior I use a car shampoo but I don't want to throw that much water inside the car.

Try Plexus to maintain it. That's what I use on my coated wood trim and I love it. It cleans really well, leaves a slick but not greasy feeling, and I think it fills in minor swirls and leaves some protection.

Oh, and be careful when polishing... that stuff can be really soft.

Any type of clear plastic cleaner and polish will work well, although Meguiar's makes the best.
