can my dealer read my codes and know i have an intercooler upgrade?
the only BMW importer for ecuador has a very simple warantee rule:
absolutely no mods or warantee is voided. i am at 9,000 feet and think a intercooler upgrade will help: ALOT. PLEASE DO NOT DEBATE WHETHER IT WILL, I WANT an IC upgrade. Question is will the dealer computer be able to tell that i have an intercooler upgrade? (thru air volume readings, Intake temps readings, or what not)?

does the importers "rule" conform with BMW warranty policy? Or is it a fight against wind miles?
Nevermind. If he's like this, dont risk it. An aftermarket IC is clearly visible from the front, they will find it just looking at U when entering the shops parking lot

Paint the intercooler black.
Seen them done on others such as STi/Evo and looks stealthy. |
