Angel Eye Install HELP!

I have a 08 e92 and I spent an hour trying to install a H8 Led bulb in there, but I can't get it to snug tight.

I can easily put the led bulb in (have small hands), but after I get the bulb in and I turn it clockwise, after a little turn I can't twist it anymore, and it's not snug either.

I turn anti-clockwise, it gets to a point where I can't turn it anymore and it's not snug tight either.

This was the drivers side, I didn't touch the passenger one yet. It's gotten to a point where I can easily remove and put the stock halogen bulb back in less than a few seconds, but can't get the stupid H8 LED to sit.

Any inputs????

They go in clock wise. They usually have a thick ring that needs to be compressed so push in while turning.
Who's kit?
Compare the thickness of the old vs new.

Make sure you are lining up the tabs in the proper orientation. Note the orientation of the stock bulbs.

Well for the stock bulb, I have to rotate it clockwise and then take it out and to put it back in, I have to rotate it counter-clock wise.

But i'm suppose to rotate these clockwise? I try to push them in to the point where I can hear the housing make sounds then I kind of back off. The thickness was pretty similar, besides the metal hinges that hold it into place.

Well it would be the same way you put your stock bulb in, that's for sure. For some reason I remember them going in clock-wise but you may be right.

At any rate sometimes the tabs are thicker on aftermarket units. Sometimes you can just file them down a touch and it makes installation a breeze. Sand paper will do.

I found that once I had the bulb in the housing that I got the best grip to twist it by using my middle fingers on both hands and twisting. Took quite a bit of effort to twist.

Lube that gasket a bit. I had to put a little WD40 lightly on the gasket. Spray it on a rag or towel and carefully transfer it to the gasket surface.

You can also try to use a small set of needlenose pliers (be gentle on the grip pressure) if your hands are too big.
