I don't think it's a tii, as it never claimed to be, and it doesn't have the "tii" behind the 2002 as in "2002 tii" on the rear panel.

I don't think its a tii either, but you never know. the car could be inadvertently misbadged. I'd love an '02, but you have to be super diligent with those cars or they rust into bits seemingly overnight.

Good looking Bimmer from what I can see, but it would take a lot more than a beautiful exterior for me to release my grip on 15K.

I owned 3 of them, back in the day. A 1971, 1972 and a 1975. The 1971 was an ugly grey color, the '72 was Colorado yellow/orange, and the '75 was Mint Green. The best was the '72. The '75 had drivability issues and those ugly bumpers. Yes, they do rust. I would never want one of them today, as the availability of parts is poor, and, in all truth, we remember them as "more wonderful than they really were". IMO, of course. But for a smaller, basic, lower weight car, they were a good handler, even with only about 107 or so HP from the base engine. The ones to collect would be the real "tii" and the "turbo", all prior to 1974.

As others have said, too much for a non-tii.
