HELP!!!

ok, im doing the Msport sterring wheel conversion, but i cant find the clips that release the airbag for the life of me! as i insert the screwdriver, it seems to start grinding and then just stop and not go anymore...any tips on where they are? its a E93 BTW

damn...mine is getting restitched as we speak. if i remember the DIY, there is a slit where you insert the screwdriver and it pops off.

yea, but after i insert the screwddriver it starts grinding on something...and i dont know what angle...and i dont wana break a plug or wire or somehting..

its a spring clip, the plug is further in, i don't think you'll break anything, if anything the spring clip. did you duplicate the angle in the DIY. here is the quote from that step.

ok i found the other side, but no matter how hard i push on the spring thing it wont pop out...
