Clunk from front suspension
I bought my 2008 e92 CPO in 2011 with about 30k miles. I've always heard a clunk (usually only once or twice at the most) when starting off and turning at slow speed, like in a parking lot. The car has 47k now and it's never changed for better or worse. I got so used to it that I always forget to ask the service people when I take the car in. Wonder if other 328 owners experience the same, and I wondered if hill assist system my have any floating parts that find their place after starting.

I've been having the same clunking sound on my front passenger side for a couple of months. From what I've read on the forms it could be anything...bad end link, struts or something being loose. I'm on coilovers so I'm going to start with my top hat and work my way to end links. My advice is either make a list of things that can make this clunking sound and check them off as you inspect them or just take it to the dealer.
