"Quality of service" excellent for me!....

If you're willing to drive to Stockport, Darren Woods is one of the best and they have fitted a few downpipes for e90post members.

I am about the buy some VSRF downpipe form the states and will go to darren wood to fit. Cost all in will be around 600 fitted ( including driving up there ) hopefully.

Edited : Just bought them online from VR-SPEED, they doing discount which equals to free shipping from the last time i've checked.

£240 shipped if i dont get charge by custom.

I have AR Catless down pipes that are a straight fit for RHD - you need to check when buying DP's as some are built for LHD's.

Fitting around London area:

Birds in Langley Slough
K&M in Windsor
TWG in Camberley, Surrey

quite alot of people say the VSRF is bang for buck as its a ver good fit and being 3'' it makes life easier to fit them on.

I can't remember who but a few got darren woods to fit , hence they would know how to do properly.

I'll report back, will get this done by the end of next month

Have you fitted VRSF ones before?

AR design one's are very expensive, from my head i think they were 800 USd plus shipping.

With so many good reviews on the VSRF, it's a no brainer to try these. I am not saying AR's are not good, they have a great rep for downpipes.

It i went for AR's the cost would be 400-500 pounds shipped and plus another 200 for fitting ( and that's not including custom charges)

I had my VRSF ones fitted by DW in Stockport. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Long way from London though.
You will need someone who has done it before as its a right pig to get at.
Car pulls soooo much cleaner with them on. And the sound is just right.

Unless you have a ramp and some way of supporting the engine from above I would have a serious rethink.

Can be done on the drive but very difficult and expect to lose a few knuckles ;-)

Haven't tried the VRSF ones but the AR's with my other mods are savage.

Haha!! I watched them fucking do it!!

Go fot it pal. I never said it was impossible. Have fun,
Hope you enjoy trying to save a couple of hundred quid while snapping fasteners and bleeding from the knuckles, while lying on yr back getting exhaust rust in your eyes.. Just to find out they rattle on full lock and need the slightest adjustment...

Yep. They are the VRSF Catless ones. I have had the car a year and the DP's have been on since last summer.
They make a big difference to the way the engine responds and revs. Feels much livelier and instant. With a great throaty sound and a nice burble on over-run.
