Hey all,

I have H&R Coilovers with the perches all the way at the top in front and the car is really low. I was hoping I was wrong about the adjustment and that I had to drop the perches lower in order to get the car to lift, but research says that you want the top of the perches at the top of the threads to raise the car. Is anyone else having this problem?

Are H&R Coilovers just too low for my liking? What else would you recommend that would have more range of adjustment?

Thanks, but it's a bit too low for me with our roads here and I would prefer a bit more shock travel. Wondering if I can add a helper spring or something to give it some more height.

I appreciate the comments folks, but I am looking for a solution. I will let you know if these coilovers are up for sale if you enjoy the height

Right now, I'm considering the BMW Performance suspension or going with a spring/shock combo with a little bit less of a drop. Koni Yellow and Swift or Eibach springs are what comes to mind.

I have read a lot on the koni with Eibach and swift. A lot of people love the eibachs. I am saving money for some koni's right now, and I have Eibach Spotlines already. I had Eibach on my previous car and loved them.

Your car sits perfectly but of course if you're looking for a smoother ride, Eibach Pro-Kit + Koni FSD is a great way to go.

Yes, you are at the top of the ride height on the adjustments. Ride height is dictated by the spring height, so if you want to raise the car higher than it is now (and based on the fact that you are at the top of the adjustment range), you would need to buy taller springs for the car.....and helper springs won't do anything for the ride height.....

Keep in mind that not all coilover kits are built to be able to ride at stock ride height. If you do sell yours, our coilover kits are built to ride at stock ride height and go down from there......

Do you know the height of the springs you currently have on the car? Once you have that information, you can begin searching for taller springs (if they're available).

Here is a link to ours with all the measurements for each spring. (make sure you know the I.D. (inner diameter) of the springs too, so you know what to shop for......

If you want higher, you'll need a new set up.

I was expecting the car to be slammed. It doesn't seem that low. If you're worried about scraping then go for splitters or a lip.

You dont need a new setup, but you will need longer springs if you want to have a higher ride height. However longer springs may affect strut rebound travel and ride quality.

Dude thats super low. You're crazy. Especially for the highest setting. imagine on the lowest.

Longer springs or stiffer springs.

Helper spring would add a bit of height, but only what they measure at fully compressed. Maybe an inch max.

Thts how I feel with the St coilovers. Max settings on high is still pretty low..
