Swap JB4 N55 harness B to A?

Hi all

Thought I would post over here as specifically focused on the N55.
I think I have been an idiot and sourced a used JB4 Stage 2 N55 with the wrong TMAP Type. I thought I needed a Type B, but it appears as though mine is actually a Type A.

Does anyone know is it possible to swap over the harnesses, and if so, where would I source a Type A connector from. BMS dont seem to sell just the connectors on their own?

Did you buy it directly from bms? they replaced mine when I made that mistake

Thanks for the response. No bought second hand in the UK - 1st owner bought direct from BMS

probably best to sell or see if you can buy another harness through bms

I think I may have to sell. BMS have come back to say they wont sell the connectors separately.
I did think maybe I could buy a TMAP sensor connector and fit this??? Can not seem to find the part number though

I think you can purchase an entire harness not just the connector

Yeah, just sell and re-buy. Not worth hacking your wiring up.

Yeah will probably have to. Unfortunately they are very rare over here in UK, so may take me a long time! Has taken me a while to source this one!

Yup your best bet is to resell and then buy it from BMS or one of the vendors on the forum

Thanks for the offer. Because they are really rare over here, I would prefer to keep the unit intact, and sell as a complete unit.

no i was offering you my whole JB4 lol. It's stage 1 and harness A..wasn't looking to part any of it out or have you part out yours.

I do still have it but planning on keeping it until I sell the unit then selling as either a or b - then sell whichever harness is left
