Code to increase alarm siren...?

Sup guys,

I'm looking to increase the volume on the alarm siren. I was informed there was a way of doing this via coding. Can anyone confirm if these are the correct codes? I'm not sure if this is to change the chirp volume or the siren volume.

DWAS module:
BUZZER_HIGH_LEVEL
wert_06 > wert_04
wert_07 > wert_05
wert_08

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did it increase the volume on the siren or the chirp?

Has anyone else done this recently? Can you also code for a different sound? My factory alarm retrofit came programmed to sound like a loud beep rather than the typical oscillating siren.

Hey, sorry to thread jack, but I am trying to achieve the same thing. I was about to create a new thread, but it maybe better to keep all information in one thread. I have read through the link provided above, but I am still unable to increase the volume of my alarm.

I have attached a copy of my current DWAS module in hopes that someone can let me know what exactly to adjust in order to maximize the alarm volume.

From what I understand the following must be adjusted, but the changes I make do not seem to stick when i write to the module:

Car: 2008 BMW 335i e92

BUZZER_LOW_LEVEL
wert_01
wert_02
wert_06
wert_07
wert_08
BUZZER_HIGH_LEVEL
wert_06
wert_07
wert_08

I have tried multiple combinations including: wert_08 only for both and it goes back to the above, starting with a low number and moving up. Nothing seems to make the alarm volume increase.

Can the coding experts please jump in here and help us all out

Hey everyone,

I managed to figure it out. For those interested I coded the DWAS module back to factory settings using a blank .MAN file and it had the following:

BUZZER_LOW_LEVEL
wert_04
wert_05
BUZZER_HIGH_LEVEL
wert_04
wert_05

This made the alarm volume become significantly louder, all is well now
