so I just got my trans flashed with the b3 flash , I have an n55 with 26k and a jb4.. no other engine mods... I'm really liking the flash but I noticed when I really give it throttle it doesn't feel as strong of a pull. has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: I was referring to just regular "d" driving mode.. I've come to realize that regular driving mode likes to stay in higher gears even when you put your foot down it does downshift for you depending on your speed and throttle input.. I wasn't used to this , so in that sense the trans flash has kinda made regular driving mode almost like an "Eco pro" mode but when it comes to the s sport mode it feels great no matter what gear you're in it downshifts perfectly for you and gives you a great pull with fast gear changes and in manual I'm really enjoying the rev matching downshifts!!! I gave the tune some more time and overall I love it! It's def not for everyone though

I have the Alpina flash for the n54, in D it pulls less than normal (bc it shifts into higher gears quicker) in "S" it pulls better than Stock DS

Awesome glad it wasn't just me! So S is really where the pull feels strongest?

Yeah for sure. D is more of an economy setting with the flash, by 40mph you're in top gear... it takes some getting used to

Yeah I'm not sure if I like it actually because I'm not seeing much or any mpg gain

A TCU flash isn't going to make your car pull harder, or increase your horsepower.

All the flash is going to do is shift more quickly, giving the illusion that you have more power, but in effect, you're simply getting up into the higher gears faster.

Some find the flash to be great- others find it too aggressive- it really depends on the driver. In fact you may feel as though your MPG's are dropping but that's only because you're more inclined to floor it, at least that was my experience with it.

That said, I did enjoy it while I had the flash.

I flashed my TCU back to stock because I'm looking to sell it now and I don't want to give a private seller a reason to walk away.

Yup def! When I said "pull" I wasn't referring to power . But more so feel.. What I was getting at was that I noticed pre tcu flash in D the car pulled better but obviously it's all depending on what speed / gear I'm in. But I def noticed sport feels better now than before the flash as for gains I haven't really seen much! But that's just me overall I do like it!! I can't get enough of the rev matched downshifts !!

Driving in D is like driving in Eco Mode, but the flash is a day and night difference compared to stock. I drive mostly in manual mode so I definitely feel the difference. One time I took my car in for service and forgot to tell them that I had a trans flash so I got it back without it, needless to say, the car felt totally different (feel, power etc), had to get it reflashed thanks to Alex@Alpine, great guy! I highly recommend getting this flash
