Those of you who own a BMS OCC- what have you found?

I'm about to remove mine on Saturday after six months- if I don't see much in the can it's coming off.

I'd love to know this too! Been thinking about getting one but I have yet to read if they actually do much on the N55.

Well, I'll show the contents Saturday when I remove it. Let's see if it is even worthwhile to have on the car.

Don't think it's as effective for me with the miles and year mine is. I was told it would be beneficial, but

I ran a 'home brew' catch can as an experiment for about 3000 miles. Didn't see jack shit in it so I took it off and never thought about spending $ on a permanent setup. N54s need a catch can, N55s don't. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Thanks for sharing!

Then in that case, I'll have close to jack shit with my Dinan stage III. I'm thinkin I'm takin it off. It is pressing dangerously close to my passenger side headlight ballast and wire harness to make matters worse. This time I'm keeping it off

Might be a good excuse to make an appt with JMK BMW and have them slap in my Osram Night Breaker fog bulbs- and take this thing off and put it back to OEM. Besides, I'm thinking it is the source of the occasional odd oil-like smell coming through the HVAC system.

Alternatively, anyone local to me want to help me put my setup back to stock instead? Doesn't look terribly complicated, but would love for someone who has installed/ uninstalled their BMS OCC on an N55 themselves to reach out if they can
