Tint the Sunroof

Finally getting my tints. I'm also getting the inside of the sunroof tinted quite dark. How many people get the sun in their eyes when the sunroof is in 'vent' mode? Man I hate this.

In my old Jetta, the fabric deck that runs along the underside of the actual glass had physical vents that were angled to allow for air passage, but no direct sunlight to come through into your eyes when the roof was in Vent. In the BMW, the whole fabric deck slides back a few inches which allows the sunlight to shine right in when overhead.

With the dark tint on there now, I should be able to Vent the roof and not have to squint. Thought I'd share this idea for any others looking for a solution.

Did the same thing when i picked my car up a few months ago and got it tinted... I think it comes tinted from the factory, but it's too damn light and the sun is blinding!

Oh jeez - I should have thought about wearing sunglasses! GREAT idea - wish I thought about that. Where can I buy some? (sorry for the lame sarcasm - certianly you don't think the sunglasses recommnedation was a value-added comment...)

IF there was tint on there from the factory, its not working for me. Definitely doesn't block the direct sunlight enough. Will be much better now.

Cheers.
